BRENHAM MAIFEST KICK-OFF PICNIC SET FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY

  

In just one week, the 2017 Brenham Maifest President’s Kickoff Picnic will usher in the Maifest celebrations.

The picnic, which honors the sponsors and volunteers who make Maifest possible, will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Fireman’s Park Pavilion.

The traditional Maipole Dance will take place at 6 p.m. and will feature Aspirations Gymnastics and Dance team.

The picnic will have food by Design II and drinks from Mike Hopkins Distributing and Brookshire Brothers.

Dr. Donald Draehn will provide entertainment for the event. There will also be music by John Dujka.

KWHI’s Craig Montana will be there, broadcasting live from the Friendly County Cruiser.
