BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT TO CELEBRATE 150 YEARS

  

The Brenham Fire Department is celebrating their 150th anniversary this year.

The milestone will be marked with a celebration on Saturday, May 27th.

As part of the day, the community is invited to an open house at the fire station from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be tours of the station, a chance to meet the firefighters, activities for kids, a hot dog lunch provided by HEB, as well as cake and beverages.

That night there will be a dinner celebration at Fireman’s Training Center. It will kick off at 5 p.m. An opening ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served and a special guest speaker will close out the celebration.
