LEE COUNTY FAIR KICKS OFF THIS WEEK

  

The Lee County Fair is happening this week at the fairgrounds in Giddings.

This year’s fair will feature a carnival, food, BBQ cook-off, and so much more. Denise Harlan, with the Lee County Fair, says everything kicks off Thursday:

The Lee County Fair Queen Pageant will take place at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Armed Forces Day Parade will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Veteran’s Park. A special ceremony will take place following the parade, featuring the posting of the colors, the national anthem, firing of the vollies and a veteran guest speaker.
