“CELEBRATE OUR SENIORS” SET FOR SATURDAY IN BRENHAM:
The 14th annual “Celebrate Our Seniors” program is this Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Washington County Fairgrounds & Event Center on E. Blue Bell Rd.
The Brenham community is invited to participate in the program honoring seven senior citizens for their contributions to Washington County communities.
The honorees include Dr. Floyd E. Bentley, Rev. Dr. John D. Harris and Mrs. Helen Harris, Dave Hubbard, Clarence Johnson, Gloria Smith, and Tommie Sullivan.
As part of the program, live performances of gospel music will be presented, and raffles and Bingo.
Additionally, representatives from home healthcare and other community-based programs will be on hand to answer questions about services available.
A free BBQ meal is served to all senior citizens, 65 and over, while others are asked to donate $5.
