BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF WASHINGTON CO. TO CLOSE NEXT WEEK

  

The Brenham and Burton sites for the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County will be closed next week in light of the coronavirus scare.

The Boys and Girls Club made the announcement this (Friday) afternoon, aligning with the decisions made by Brenham and Burton ISD this morning to cancel classes and school activities all through next week.

In its announcement, the club said it is doing everything possible to keep children, staff, and volunteers protected from the virus.  The club said it will continue to monitor all updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities for updated information.

The club in its statement said it is advising all staff, families, and youth members to take precautions as recommended by the CDC.
