BRENHAM POLICE ARREST ROCKDALE MAN ON WARRANT

A Rockdale man has been arrested on outstanding warrant by Brenham Police.
Authorities were called to Jackson Street Park, in the 1300 block of South Jackson, for a narcotics complaint, just after 4:30, Tuesday afternoon.

At the scene, 19-year old Alvin James Mitchell III of Rockdale was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
Police also arrested 21-year old Jonathan Laday Ramey, also of Rockdale. Ramey had a warrant out for his arrest on a charge of Non-Payment of Child Support.
Both Mitchell and Ramey were taken to the Washington County Jail.
