PANTHERS 2ND; BLUNTSON TAKES 4 GOLD AT DISTRICT TRACK

DISTRICT 26/2A TRACK & FIELD MEET
THURSDAY @ NORMANGEE

It was a banner day, Thursday for Cheyanne Bluntson, as she took four gold medals at the District 26/2A Track & Field Meet at Normangee.

Bluntson took first place in the 100 Dash, 200 Dash, Long Jump and the Triple Jump, and she was also on the 4x200 Relay team that finished 3rd.

For the Panthers, all three relay teams (4x100, 200 & 400) captured gold.  Also taking first were: Caleb Harmel in the 110 and 300 Hurdles; Tremane Daniels, 100 Dash; Tristan Brantley, 200 Dash; and, Chase Mathis, 400 Dash.

The top four in each event qualify for the Area Meet, Monday (4/8) at Thrall.
