ST. PETER’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH OFFERING “ASHES TO GO” WEDNESDAY

  

Ash Wednesday observers who are unable to find the time to attend a church service Wednesday are invited to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham for “Ashes to Go”.

Christians are invited to the Austin Street parking lot of St. Peter’s from 7 to 9 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a blessing and the placing of ashes.

Every Ash Wednesday, pastors place ashes on the foreheads of Christians as a reminder of their mortality and to call them to repentance.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located at 2310 Airline Drive, will also offer Ash Wednesday services at noon and 6 p.m.  For more information, visit www.stpetersbrenham.org.
