The position of Secretary for the Austin County Commissioners Court will be discussed when the Commissioners meet Monday morning at 9 o’clock in Bellville.

Also on the agenda is a report from Deanna Warmke of CASA for kids, discussion about the Austin County budget, and requests for one-time variances from subdivision regulations.  The requests are for property subdivisions on Texas Star Lane, on Lane, and on FM 1456.

The Austin County Commissioners will also discuss an application for required schooling for County Court at Law Judge Daniel Leedy.  And they will authorize the advertisement for bids for a number of items for the Road and Bridge Department.

The Commissioners meet at 9 o’clock Monday morning in the courthouse in Bellville.

  1. Fix the clocks on the court house. The time is always wrong. Why are they there? Speed limit? East Glenn is a freeway! Police could make enough to pay for quiet zones from the train!
