Christina Rigsby is a 2015 graduate of Brenham High School.  She competed on the BHS Cross Country and Track Teams.

After a year at Blinn, she transferred to Texas A&M and joined the Aggie Cycling Team last fall.  She began racing this spring and just competed at the USA Collegiate National Championships this past weekend in Grand Junction, CO.

She won a total of 6 races this spring, including the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference championships for 2017 which includes all universities in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.  She was the only Texas athlete to qualify for the National Championships this year.

At Nationals, she was 16th in the Time Trial on Day 1.  On Day 2, she suffered a crash in the Road Race.  She got back on her bike in last place, out of 62 riders, and moved all the way up to 34th by the finish.  On the final day, she was 21st in the Criterium event.  Her final place in the combined points for all 3 events was 26th.

Christina's twin sister, Michelle, is also a member of the A&M cycling team.
