Brenham police are searching for a Hempstead man in connection with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that occurred Aug. 10.
According to Det. Michael Davis, a warrant has been issued for forty-eight year old Moses Albert Arthurs in connection with that incident. Davis said Arthurs is alleged to have attacked a female victim around 8 p.m. on Aug. 10. The assault occurred in the 1000 block of S. Austin St., in Brenham.
“The victim said Arthurs pulled a small handgun and placed it to her neck, trying to make her go with him. We do consider Arthurs dangerous and ask if anyone knows of his whereabouts to call us immediately. Please don’t approach him,” Davis said.
