BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON D..W.I. CHARGE
A Brenham woman faces a DWI charge after a traffic stop early this (Friday) morning.
Shortly after 12:30, Cpl. Lance Weiss conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of West Fifth Street for an equipment violation.
According to Weiss, he could smell the odor of alcohol on the driver, 40-year old Sonya Ruth Harper of Brenham.
Harper was reportedly unable to perform a field sobriety test and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
