COUNTY SEEKING REIMBURSEMENTS
The apprehension of undocumented or people in this country illegally is a concern for the Washington County Commissioners when they meet Tuesday at the courthouse.
Washington County Judge John Brieden says the Commissioners are hoping to make an agreement for professional services with Justice Benefits Incorporated, because it is a difficult task to get even a partial reimbursement when an undocumented alien is taken into custody.
The County Commissioners are also searching for ways to get reimbursements for the EMS at Tuesday’s meeting. They will be seeking an agreement with Revenue Optimization Solutions to establish and maintain payments with the Texas Ambulance Supplemental Payment Program.
The Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday morning at nine at the courthouse.
