LELA KELLY–LONGTIME LOCAL CHOREOGRAPHER DIES
Funeral services were held Saturday in Houston for the long-time choreographer for the Brenham Maifest coronations.
Lela Ann Kelly died Monday after a long battle with Lymphoma. She was 64.
Kelly was the longtime director of the Blinn College Treasures Dance Team and directed the Maifest coronations.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. John R. Kelly, son J.J. Kelly, daughter Rainey Kelly Crow and son Luke Kelly.
An endowed scholarship has been established at Blinn College. Contributions may be sent to the Blinn Coll ege Foundation, 902 College Ave., Brenham.
