MONTGOMERY CO. DEPUTY CHARGED WITH ‘DEADLY CONDUCT’

A Montgomery County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested and charged with two counts deadly conduct for an incident that occurred last summer
The charges apparently stem from a roadway incident that happened on June 1, 2017 in the Woodlands.
30-year-old Sheriff’s Deputy Eveleen Soroko was reportedly off duty and in her personal vehicle at the time. No details of the incident are being released at this time.
Soroko was placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
Montgomery County Internal Affairs Division along with the District Attorney's Office and the Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
She surrendered to authorities on December 19 and was released on bail. She remains on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
Deputy Soroko has been a part of the Sheriff's Office for 4 years.
