POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY

  

On  Wednesday at 7:20pm, Cpl. Edward Ortega was dispatched to the 1000 block of Haynes St. in reference to an aggravated robbery.

Ortega met with the victim, who said he was parked in front of his residence using his phone when he was approached by several black males.

They asked to use his phone, and if he had any money. When the victim refused to let them use his phone, one of the subjects grabbed the phone from his hand.

As the victim attempted to get out of the vehicle, one of the subjects put a black gun in his face. The victim started blowing his horn, and the subjects ran off.

The case is under investigation.
