SEALY VFD TO HELP WASH CIRCUS ELEPHANTS WEDNESDAY

Who better to help bathe an elephant than the Fire Department.

The Sealy Volunteer Fire Department will be helping to bathe the elephants of the Carson and Barnes Circus tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon in Sealy.  Using their pressurized fire hoses, firemen will assist in cleaning the elephants before their performances with the Carson and Barnes Circus at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.  It takes about 500 gallons of water and 2 gallons of soap just to give one elephant its daily bath.  Each elephant will lie down as it is scrubbed with soap specially formulated for its skin, and showered with water from the fire hoses.

The public is invited to watch the Sealy Volunteer Fire Department help bathe the elephants at 3 o’clock tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 2067 Highway 36 North in Sealy, across from Positive Feed.

  1. Ya let’s make more of a public mockery of these beautiful creatures. It’s bad enough how circus companies use them as slaves for their own greed.
