WASHINGTON CO. GRAND JURY RETURNS 18 INDICTMENTS

  

The Washington County Grand Jury met in regular session Tuesday and returned 18 indictments.  Only the names of those that have been arrested can be released.

Gene Saxton, age 72 was indicted for Murder and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.  Saxton was arrested in September after police and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of gunfire on Pecan Circle Drive.  Saxton had reportedly shot and killed one person and threatened to fire on another.

Dillian James Sweed, 19 of Houston was indicted for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.  Sweed and two others were arrested by Brenham Police during a traffic stop where tools commonly used to commit various crimes were reportedly found in the vehicle.

Quadarius Williams, 17 of Somerville, was indicted for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Robert David Dean, Jr., 58 of Somerville was indicted for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

The following persons were previously indicted by the Washington County Grand Jury in October and have since been arrested so the name can now be released.

Kirbie Rogers, 18 of Brenham was indicted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  Rogers was arrested by Brenham Police after he reportedly shot a 7 month old child with a BB gun.

John Tomczak, 58 of Hempstead was indicted for Indecency with Child Sexual Contact and Continuous Sexual Abuse of Child/Victim under 14 years of Age.
