ONE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES DURING PARTY

  

Officer Sierra Newell responded to the 600 block of Pecan Street on Sunday, around 11:53 pm. in reference to a disturbance.

After arriving at the scene, it was determined that a party was going on, not a disturbance. Newell could smell marijuana emitting from the residence and a female that lived there said the Hispanic male, eighteen-year-old Miguel Angel Rosas, of Brenham, sitting on the porch had it.

Sgt. Kelvin Raven conducted a search of the subject and found a baggie containing marijuana on the man.

Rosas was arrested, and charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz
