BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO TWO TRASH FIRES OVER THE WEEKEND

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to two trash fire calls yesterday (Sunday).

Just after 3:00am yesterday (Sunday) morning, the department responded to US HWY 290 East and Chappell Hill Street for debris burning on the side of the road. Once units arrived, they found a small pile of trash burning. They extinguished the small fire but the cause was undetermined.

Then, just after 03:30am, Brenham Fire Department responded to US HWY 290 East and Jozwiak Road for more debris burning on side of the road. Fire Department units put out the small pile of trash. It was determined that someone had a fire on back of a truck and was dumping the debris on the road.
