FRIENDS OF BLUEBONNET OPRY HOLDING POLKA SHOW TONIGHT

  

The Friends of Bluebonnet Opry is holding their bi-annual Polka Show tonight (Thursday) at the Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham.

“We hold a polka show twice a year and it seems to be a very popular one” says Eunice Drews, President of the Bluebonnet Opry.

Featured performers tonight include Allison Crowson, Gene Hackemack, and Al Sulak.

The Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 a person sold at the door.

There is a full snack bar open serving hamburgers, hot dogs, as well as other snacks. The funds raised from the event go to Hospice Brazos Valley. Through the combined efforts of the Friends of the Bluebonnet Opry, its many sponsors, and supporters, the organization has been able to make sizeable donations to local hospice care.
