FAYETTE CO. NAMES DEPUTY OF THE QUARTER

  

Deputy Terry Guentert has been named Fayette County Deputy of the Quarter.

Guentert has been with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office for ten years and is a lifelong resident of Fayette County.

Sheriff Keith Korenek and Chief Deputy Randy Noviskie say they recognized Guentert as Deputy of the Quarter due to his work ethics and investigational efforts.

Guentert recently responded to a sighting of an “AMBER ALERT” vehicle along IH 10.  Korenek says he was instrumental in the safe recovery of the missing child, while a man was taken into custody.

These awards are given by the Administration of the Sheriff’s Office based on individual performance of the men and women of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
