BHS ARCHERY TEAM COMPETES AT NASP STATE TOURNAMENT
The Brenham High School archery team recently competed at the NASP State Tournament in Belton, Texas. Participants were Brianna Hill, Taylor Ware, RC Nelson and Carter Yackel.
RC Nelson won the boys high school division by shooting a 292/300 possible score, ranking him 1st out of 1182 boys, 1st out of 472 high school boys and 1st out of 112 grade 12 boys. He was awarded a limited edition Genesis bow and a $4000 college scholarship. He will also travel to Louisville, Kentucky on May 10th to represent Texas NASP at the National Tournament. This will be his second trip to the National NASP tournament.
