(Bell Co. Jail)

A Central Texas man faces charges after making numerous death threats—including a Brazos County Family Court Judge.

38-year old Travis Dean Sheppard of Harker Heights lost custody of his child to his ex-wife back in May.  Sheppard allegedly threatened to kill her, her boyfriend and Brazos County Family Court judge Wendy Wood Hencerling, who presided over the custody hearing.

Sheppard is in the Bell County Jail, charged with one count of terroristic threat against a public servant, two counts of terroristic threat against family/household and obstruction or retaliation.

His bonds totaled $530,000.

Sheppard was booked into the Bell County Jail Thursday morning after he was transferred from the Brazos County Jail in Bryan.

A witness told authorities Sheppard told him in June, he planned to go back to Brazos County and—quote: “…kill them all.”
