‘OUR DAY TO SHINE’ FRIDAY NIGHT AT CUBS’ FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGE
The Brenham Cubs will host ‘OUR DAY TO SHINE’ Friday night when they take on Northbrook in a scrimmage at Cubs Stadium.
The admission price of $4 for adults and $2 for students will go toward the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation’s Benevolence Fund.
The fund was established by the Texas High School Coaches Association to assist athletes and coaches with special needs or hardships.
To date, over 900 schools have participated in ‘OUR DAY TO SHINE’ and have raised over $514,000.
The THSCEF has distributed over $536,000 to athletes and coaches with special needs.
The JV’s will scrimmage Northbrook at 4:30; the Varsity at 6:00.
