Zoe Madrid records season-high 15 saves for Blinn
CORSICANA, Texas — Blinn College women’s soccer (2-6, 2-3) fell to No. 3 Navarro College, 8-0, in a conference game on Thursday night.
On defense, Zoe Madrid recorded a season-high 15 saves for the Buccaneers.
The Bulldogs started strong and held a 6-0 lead at the half. Navarro scored two more goals in the second half for an 8-0 final.
The Buccaneers return home on Tuesday, Sept. 18, to take on Paris Junior College in a conference matchup at 5 p.m. Earlier this season, Blinn defeated Paris in an overtime victory by the score of 4-3.
