WASHINGTON CO. 4-H MEMBERS AWARDED $69,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS FROM TEXAS 4-H FOUNDATION
Four Washington County 4-H members have been selected to receive tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships from the Texas 4-H Foundation as they graduate from high school.

Madison Moran, Dalton Winkelmann, Addison Schramme and Zane Aschenbeck are receiving a combined $69,000 in scholarships.
Scholarships of $20,000 from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo were each presented to Moran, Winkelmann and Schramme, all graduates of Brenham High School.
Moran was also awarded a $4,000 scholarship by the Garland Mildred Powers Memorial.
Aschenbeck, a graduate of Burton High School, received a $5,000 scholarship from the Texas 4-H Foundation Southeast.
Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarships are awarded each year to applicants based on their academic record, 4-H experience and financial need. Through the support of donors, Texas 4-H awarded over $2.7 million in scholarships to more than 220 4-H members.
