WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS SCHOOL LANDS REPORT
Washington County Commissioners will look over a school lands report when they meet Tuesday morning.
Commissioners will discuss the 2017-18 School Lands Report, as well as the disbursement of funds to the Brenham and Burton School Districts.
Commissioners will also hold public hearing on the possible reduction of the speed limit on Gilmore Road (from State Highway 36 North to Wolf Creek Road), and Muery Road (from FM 390 to Gilmore Road) in Precinct 3.
In addition, the court will issue a pair of proclamations. One will proclaim October 15th through the 19th as Texas Chamber of Commerce Week, while the other will honor retired Municipal Court Judge Eddie Harrison.
The court will also look over a series of reports from the Sheriff, county 911, IT Department, EMS, and Veterans Service Officer.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m., at the Washington County Courthouse.
