IRA NEWSOME TALKS WITH KWHI ABOUT HIS CAMPAIGN
This week, KWHI has talked with each of the candidates for District 13 State Representative.
Now, we move to the Washington County Commissioner candidates for Precinct 2, beginning with Democrat Ira Newsome. Newsome, longtime resident of Chappell Hill, says he feels confident going into the upcoming election.
Newsome believes his experience in business would help him in his efforts as County Commissioner.
One of Newsome’s top concerns is the ongoing growth of the area, and how to meet the needs of everyone in Washington County.
Newsome wants to make sure the area is prepared for growth, with upgrades and repairs to roads and equipment.
Early voting continues through tomorrow (Friday) ending at 5 p.m. KWHI will bring you election results as they come in, once polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 6th.
