2019 MAIFEST ROYALTY TO BE ANNOUNCED JAN. 13

  

Brenham’s Maifest, one of Texas’ oldest springtime traditions, will announce the royalty for the 129th festival Sunday, January 13^th.

The annual Maifest Serenade will be held at 2 p.m. on the 13^th at the Dr. Bobbie Dietrich Memorial Amphitheatre at Hohlt Park.

Last year’s kings and queens will announce the identities of this year’s royalty.

The 128^th Junior Court includes King Charlie Kenjura and Queen Swaze Huckert, who will introduce the 129th Junior Maifest Court Royalty.

The 128^th Senior Court includes Kings Stephen Puckett and Noah Ragonis and Queens Caroline Cone and Sara Guiberteau, who will introduce the 128th Junior Maifest Court Royalty.

Music will be provided by the Brenham High School Band. The Brenham High School ROTC will post the colors.

In addition, the themes of the 2019 Maifest courts will be announced as well as many of the activities planned for the Maifest weekend.

Children ages 3 through high school are encouraged to register to participate in the Maifest celebration.

Craig Montana will be broadcasting live from the Maifest Serenade beginning at 2 p.m.

In the event of bad weather, the Serenade will be moved to the Brenham High School cafeteria.
