FORMER SOMERVILLE TEACHER INDICTED ON IMPROPER TEACHER/STUDENT RELATIONSHIP CHARGES
A former Somerville High School teacher and coach has been indicted on multiple charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

(Burleson Co. Jail)
43-year-old Christopher Michael Coronado was indicted by a Burleson County grand jury on three counts of an Improper Relationship Between Educator/Student, a second-degree felony.
Coronado was removed from the school in September of 2018, after he was accused of having an improper relationship with an 18-year-old student from the school. At the time, school administrators believed this to be an isolated incident.
Superintendent Karla Sparks, an interim at the time of the incident, said Coronado will not be back at the campus or district.
