WHARTON WOMAN CHARGED IN BRENHAM WITH EVIDENCE TAMPERING
Update: Jakara Woods was found innocent of the charge on August 9, 2022.
A Wharton woman is in custody after her arrest in Brenham, Monday night.
18-year old Jakara Woods was arrested after police were called to a narcotics complaint in the 1500 block of Farewell, near the intersection of Highway 290 and FM 389.
At the scene, police men with two subjects. After a short interview Woods was subsequently arrested and charged with Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence with Inntent to Impair.
Woods was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
