Over $460,000 in scholarships were presented to graduating Brenham High School seniors Monday night during the 37th Annual Scholarship Ceremony and Academic Awards Program, hosted by the Brenham High School National Honor Society.

The top graduates of 2024 are Alex Dallmeyer, named valedictorian with a grade point average of 4.7566, and Joshua Parker, named salutatorian with a GPA of 4.6538.

Dallmeyer plans to major in finance at the University of Texas at Austin.

Joshua is the son of Lee and Sara Parker.  He says he greatly benefitted from putting in the time and energy to succeed.

Parker will attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where he will major in mechanical engineering.

There are 322 graduating seniors this year, including 126 honor graduates.

Brenham High School’s graduation will be held on Friday, May 24th at 8 p.m. at Cub Stadium.  KWHI will have a live broadcast of the ceremony.
