BRENHAM STUDENTS TO ATTEND LEADERSHIP EVENT AT TEXAS A&M

Coming up on Tuesday, students from Brenham Junior High and Brenham High School will take part in a special student leadership event at Texas A&M.

40 students from Brenham ISD will visit the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.  These students are part of the superintendent’s student advisory council for the 2018-19 school year.

The visit will include tours of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Bush School of Government and Public Service, as well as talks with students on college life and leadership.

Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson said he is very impressed at the maturity of the school district’s students, along with their academic and cultural curiosity.  He said the district is excited to offer an opportunity to let students participate in a program that will strengthen their leadership skills.
