KWHI TO HOST FORUM TUESDAY FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 12 CANDIDATES
KWHI’s Candidates Forum is tonight (Tuesday) for the two Republican candidates seeking election as representative of Texas House District 12.
The forum will be broadcast from the KWHI studios starting at 5:30 p.m.
Ben Bius will be live in studio for questions from the news media and the listening audience. Trey Wharton is unable to attend this evening, but he will sit for questions in a pre-recorded interview that will play after the program with Bius.

Wharton and Bius are facing off in a primary runoff election on May 28th after being the top two vote-getters out of three in the March 5th primary. The election is to fill the seat of Kyle Kacal, who is not running for re-election.
The winner of the runoff will go up against Democrat Dee Howard Mullins and Libertarian Robert Profili in November.
Early voting for the runoff will take place between May 20-24.
