I-10 WORK IN FAYETTE CO. TO TAKE REST OF YEAR

  

Commuters along I-10 in Fayette County may see some delays until the end of the year.

Tx-DOT contractors will have parts of I-10 between Schulenburg and Flatonia restricted to just one lane in certain areas due to repairs and resurfacing.

Crews from Big Creek Construction will be working on one lane at a time in two mile sections beginning on the east-bound side.

Once the east side is complete, work will begin in the west-bound lanes.

Officials say the work will be Tuesdays thru Fridays for the rest of the year.

The project is costing the state 10.8-million dollars.
