A Thursday night traffic stop on I-10 in Fayette County led to the confiscation of over $2 million in meth.

At around 9:15 p.m., Fayette County Sheriff’s Sergeant Randy Thumann and K-9 Kolt stopped a Chevy Silverado headed eastbound at the 660 mile marker for a traffic violation.

Upon observing several indicators of narcotics trafficking, Sgt. Thumann received consent to search the vehicle, and deployed Kolt to conduct an exterior sweep.
