BURTON SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES TO SPEAK AT FORUM

  

The public is invited to hear from the Burton school board candidates at tonight’s (Monday) forum.

The forum, hosted by a group of concerned Burton citizens, will take place this evening at 7 p.m. at the Burton Community Center.  All six candidates for the board positions have been invited.

Incumbents are Demetrius Colvin and Jeff Harmel.  The challengers are Linda Sue Pinkerton and Jon L. Johnson.  The four are running for two positions on the board.

In addition, incumbent Ande Bostain will face challenger John Parffrey in a special election for the board position last held by Linda Hasten, who resigned last December.
