JUNETEENTH BANQUET SATURDAY AT NEW LIFE CHURCH OF GOD IN BRENHAM
Royalty will be introduced tomorrow (Saturday) night for the 2019 Brenham Juneteenth celebration.
The Juneteenth Royalty Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. at New Life Church of God in Brenham, at 1990 FM 389.
At the banquet, the Junior and Senior kings and queens will be introduced, who will reign over Juneteenth activities. Those begin on June 1st with the Formal Ball at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The Juneteenth celebration begins June 14th with a free concert at Fireman’s Park, with the Brown Sugar Band. Festivities will move to downtown Brenham the next day with the annual parade at 10:30 a.m., then back to Fireman’s Park for more activities until 4 p.m. with DJ Keith Cooper.
