BLUEBONNET MASTER GARDENERS HOSTING “KIDS KAMPS” IN AREA COUNTIES

  

The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners are hosting a one-week gardening education camp for children in Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington Counties in June.

Each Kids Kamp will accept children from ages 10-13 with a maximum of 20 students per county. Activities will include worm composing, entomology, soil and gardening, nutrition and kitchen management, and food preservation.

The dates for each camp depend on the county:

Washington County will be from June 3^rd-June 7^th.

Colorado County is June 10^th-June 14^th.

Fayette County is June 17^th-June 21^st.

Austin County is June 24^th-June 28^th.

Kids Kamp hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The deadline to register is June 19^th, and the cost for Kids Kamp is $25.00 per child. Registration and online payment may be completed by visiting https://txmg.org/bluebonnet/kidskamp/

Applications may also be picked up and returned at your local County Extension Office.
