LOCAL YOUTH SHOW LIVESTOCK AT WASHINGTON CO. DAIRY DAY

  

Youth from around the area came to the Washington County Fairgrounds Saturday to celebrate Dairy Day.

Dairy judging awards were given to several youths at the show, held each year for 4-H and FFA members by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

There were awards presented for Pee Wee Showmanship, Junior Champions, Senior Champions, Grand Champions and a Supreme Champion.

KWHI’s own Craig Montana was on hand Saturday morning, broadcasting live from the event.

Winners were:

• Junior Showmanship – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
• Senior Showmanship – Kelsey Draehn, Washington County 4-H.
• Junior Champion, AOB – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
• Junior Champion, Brown Swiss – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
• Junior Champion, Holstein – Blaine Zapalac, Schulenburg Jr. FFA.
• Junior Champion, Jersey – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
• Senior Champion, AOB – Avery Maass, Washington County 4-H.
• Senior Champion, Brown Swiss – Kelsey Draehn, Washington County 4-H.
• Senior Champion, Holstein – Riley Mantey, Washington County 4-H.
• Senior Champion, Jersey – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H
• Grand Champion, AOB – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
• Grand Champion, Brown Swiss – Kelsey Draehn, Washington County 4-H.
• Grand Champion, Holstein – Riley Mantey, Washington County 4-H.
• Grand Champion, Jersey – Theo Goldenberg, McLennon County 4-H.
