BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO RECOGNIZE TEACHER, PARA-PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR MONDAY

  

The Brenham School Board will honor a pair of outstanding school officials at its meeting Monday.

The board will recognize the Brenham ISD teacher and para-professional of the year.  Last year’s teacher of the year was Brenham High School AP human geography teacher Madison Ruiz.

Also on the agenda, the board will receive an update on the 2019-20 district budget, compensation and benefits.  It will also receive a recap from Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson on the 86th Legislature, as well as a Region VI presentation.

The board will also consider a five-year contract renewal with UBEO Business Services for district copier needs, along with the selection of the district’s 2019 board delegate and alternate for the Texas Association of School Boards.

The board will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel matters.

The board will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.
