WASHINGTON CO. WILDLIFE SOCIETY HOSTING ANNUAL FUNDRAISER DINNER AUGUST 16TH

  

The Washington County Wildlife Society will soon be hosting its annual fundraiser dinner.

The dinner is scheduled for next Friday, August 16th, at the Washington County Fairgrounds Event Center.

A social will start off the night at 5:30 p.m., with a free-will donation chicken fried steak dinner from Gary Goebel Catering at 6:15 p.m.  A dessert table will be available for guests to bring their favorite desserts.

The program will start at 7 p.m., and will be led by Tim Siegmund of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  Born and raised in Giddings and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Siegmund has been with the department for ten years, and was the field lead for the Pastures for Upland Birds program that focuses on native grassland restoration.
