CITY OF BRENHAM ISSUES $1.63 MILLION IN APRIL BUILDING PERMITS

Six new homes were permitted last month for $1,313,946.  The largest permit of the month was for $500,000 for a home on Oak Hollow Lane.

Another notable permit was issued to Tireworld Investments, LLC for $118,375.  The permit was for retaining wall and drainage repairs at Goodwill, 2804 Wood Ridge Boulevard.  Work was contracted to CRX, Inc.

A total of 20 permits were issued in April for $1,636,806.  Last April, the city issued 32 permits for $8,801,140, with some of the primary contributors being construction permits for the new Burlington Coat Factory and Chick-fil-A.

So far this year, the city has issued 97 permits for $16,006,899.  In comparison, the first four months of 2023 saw 125 permits for $14,359,722.
