FAYETTE CO. MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG, WEAPON POSSESSION AFTER SEARCH WARRANT
A Fayette County man was arrested Saturday in La Grange on weapon and drug charges.

Around 6:30 p.m., the Fayette County Narcotics Unit, along with Sheriff’s Deputies and La Grange police, executed a search warrant at 657 North Jefferson Street. The warrant was obtained after a month long investigation into ongoing narcotic use at the property.
During the search of the residence, authorities located methamphetamines and two firearms.
One suspect, 43-year-old Samuel Hernandez, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
The Sheriff’s Office says investigation is ongoing, with pending charges on two other suspects.
