BURN BAN FOR WASHINGTON CO. LIFTED
Washington County is no longer under a burn ban.
It was announced Tuesday that the burn ban would be lifted at midnight, effective immediately.
The county wide burn ban went into effect August 27th, following very dry conditions and several grass fires.
Rain fell throughout Washington County Tuesday, and further rains are expected today (Wednesday).
