LOCAL RESTAURANT OWNERS INVITED TO VIRTUAL STAKEHOLDER MEETING TUESDAY

  

Restaurant owners in Washington County are invited this (Tuesday) afternoon to a virtual meeting discussing COVID-19 and plans for moving forward through the pandemic.

The meeting, which will be hosted by Brenham Economic Development, will be held online through Microsoft Teams starting at 2 p.m.

Brenham Economic Development Director Susan Cates said restaurant owners will receive information on how they can get on the new BrenhamEats.com website, which will compile a list of menus from local restaurants.  They can also learn information on personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitizer assistance, and how to receive assistance with printing menus from the Blinn Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Cates said restaurant owners can also just share their thoughts, ideas, and concerns, if they wish.  She said Brenham Economic Development officials are listening to the needs of the restaurant business sector as they move into the next phase of pandemic recovery.
