  1. Oh no!!!!! Eighteen new cases, I thought Puff the Magic Mask was suppose to keep us “safe” from getting sick!!

  2. Both of the pro mask comments are perfect examples of manipulation by the left. Exclusion of information is a lie, and that is the objective truth.
-While Nueces county may have had 85 cases in infants, no status is mentioned except for the one death. The babies could be just as healthy as could be , and I’ll bet they are. The one baby that died, it does not say “died from COVID-19”. All it is says is the baby tested positive. So I’ll bet that baby died from something else because the manipulation and omission are so deceitful in this case. You must also pay attention the article by the Tribune journalist.. After reading some of her other stuff, the bias, spin and lies are continuously vomited from this writer you refer to.

-The Spanish Flu was plenty political. Only it was business as usual from day one. I’ve read the history, don’t distort it with lies, its bad for you, forever. One policeman was so pro mask that he shot somebody for refusing to have one on. Obviously, the lunacy subsided and everyone returned to not wearing a mask. Another thing, if you care about me and your fellow man, you will return to work and play full time, regardless of mask, to get the economy going and raise people out of poverty through their own effort your efforts to reward work and America. Doing nothing hurts us all. Poverty kills millions and and giving into fear of COVID enables poverty.

  3. I saw my Doctor here in Brenham, Texas for a checkup and the last thing I asked him was what is the best way to protect myself. He said wearing an ear loop disposable mask is the best way. He was wearing one just like I was wearing. I’m 70 years old and have followed the guidelines from day one and I’m still virus free. I’ve worn my mask into local stores here where quite a few people I see aren’t wearing any face covering. There were 18 new cases reported on Friday, July 17, 2020. We aren’t going to control this virus without everyone and I mean every single person unless masks are being worn whether we like it or not. Think, People!

  4. So masks aren’t perfect, but apart from Jesus, what is? We do our part, wear masks, & trust Him to bless our efforts & protect us from that which we can’t protect ourselves, be it virus or ignorance.

  5. Eighty-five babies under the age of 1 have tested positive for the coronavirus in Nueces County, Texas, the county’s public health director said. One boy, younger than 6 months old, has died. Source: Texas Tribune

    1. You are trying to scare people. That article states since March. The baby who died tested positive but died from sudden infant death syndrome. Be clear with facts if you are going to state them.

  6. Everywhere I go, I see folks without masks. My 55-year old boyfriend (an ex-cop) just got out of the hospital with $40k in medical bills because he is uninsured. Two of my college-age nieces are in the hospital, as is one of their boyfriends and my sister-in-law. I wear my mask because I care about you, and I know that my exhalations can float through the air and enter your eyeballs, nose and mouth. When will you care about me?

    1. I am sorry to hear about you family’s issues.
But, that is not true. It does not travel like that.
      Read more about it.
If you are that concerned, stay home!

      1. WE should stay at home! This will effectively amount to a shut down of the economy with this self imposed lock down. I am sure that businesses will appreciate the logic of your intelligent answer. Let us pray that the vast majority of residents will take the advice of J.D.

    2. So if you’re exhalations enter my eyeballs, how is a mask going to help me?

      1. A mask worn by an infected person will significantly reduce the chance of aerosols or droplets exiting their mouth or nose and entering your eyes.

      2. She was saying her exhalations if she didn’t wear a mask could enter another persons eyes, and that is why she is wearing a mask.
