DEADLINE FRIDAY TO SUBMIT BRENHAM ISD BACK-TO-SCHOOL SURVEY RESPONSES
Time is running out for Brenham ISD parents and staff members to turn in their responses for the district’s back-to-school survey.
The district asks that survey responses be submitted no later than the end of today (Friday). Among the questions in the survey are what learning environment—face to face or remote instruction—students would prefer, whether they have access to internet and devices needed for remote learning, and whether they require transportation by bus.
The district will use the feedback received from the survey to shape how it offers its two instructional models when school reopens on August 19th.
Within the next few weeks, parents should receive a commitment form that will commit their students to the selected instruction method for at least one grading period.
The survey was opened to the public last week, when the district announced its re-opening plan for the fall. As of Monday, the survey had over 1,500 parent responses and 370 staff responses.
