“GRETEL” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Gretel” as its Pet of the Week.

Gretel is a German Shepherd mix, around eight months old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say she has been spayed, is very gentle, and has a sweet personality.

Staff say Gretel is still learning which toys she prefers, and does know some basic commands.  She would be a great fit as a family dog or a hiking partner.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is still closed to visitors, but those who are looking to adopt or foster a pet can see the shelter’s available pets online at www.petfinder.com.  They can also make an appointment to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
